Today was WINDY.

Much to windy to wear a dress. MISTAKE. Eh.
- I’m eating PIZZA tonight. Aside from eating it in Chicago, I haven’t had pizza in over a year. I consider it one of my ‘fear foods’—that if I eat it, my world will go to crap because OMGIJUSTATEPIZZA. Must stop this thinking. Therefore, I’m making HEALTHY pizza, but still something I can indulge with. Bring it on.
- I’m trading my Friday night gym date for a night in. I may not have been running, but I’ve been doing either spinning or some type of fitness class every day. My body wants rest, so rest I will give it!
- NOLA verdict: I will most likely (I say most likely because I’ve been known to bust out a marathon) be running the half. Disappointing? Yes. End of the world? No. After just four miles yesterday, my Achilles got really tight and uncomfortable. Still not painful, so I at least feel okay about that. I know that I need to get this taken care of and not make it worse. I’ve been icing, rolling my calves, and eccentric stretching. Now all I need is a little magic.
- I had to tell my new boss that I couldn’t start until I got back from New Orleans because I was running a marathon. LOLZ.
- I took a quick trip to Target today and had to bypass the food section, where they were replacing all of the Valentine’s Day candy with Easter candy. Why is there such a huge correlation with holidays and candy?? My roommate has a giant bowl(s) of candy in our living room. She told me, “You HAVE to help me eat it!” No thank you.
- Planning trips is incredibly fun. I’m a planner by heart. I want to go back to NYC soon. There’s something about going from a small city to a huge city that is fascinating.
- This guy sent me this earlier. FANTASTIC. I would kill that race.
